Gas spring cylinder

Gas spring cylinder—a gas spring is a sealed cylinder consisting of only a few basic components: rod, tube, piston, seals and end attachments.

DESCRIPTION

A hydraulic gas spring, also known as a gas strut or gas lift, is a mechanical device that uses compressed gas to provide force and motion to a mechanism. It consists of a piston inside a cylinder filled with gas, typically nitrogen, and hydraulic fluid. When the gas spring hydraulic is compressed, springlift gas spring inside the cylinder is compressed and the piston is pushed outwards, providing force. When the gas spring hydraulic is extended, the gas spring cylinder inside the cylinder expands and the piston is pulled inwards, absorbing force.

Hydraulic gas springs are commonly used in a variety of applications such as automotive hoods and trunks, office chairs, hospital beds, and industrial machinery. pneumatic gas spring are preferred over mechanical springs because they provide a smoother and more controlled motion, and their force can be adjusted by changing the amount of gas or hydraulic fluid inside the cylinder.
